Sisters

Burma was an amazing experience, beautiful people, shitty government, but they still have spirit. Some people say that outsiders should not travel there, but how else can Burmese people be seen by the world? I met many amazing people, and did my best to stay in small hotels, eat at private restaurants, and not support the terrible government. The Burmese people told me to say that they need us to visit, not only to support the people, but to get the story of what is happening out to the world.  I met these sisters, bought them a cool drink, and spent a few moments of our lives together. This was before the big storm of 2008. I hope they are OK.
